Youth
At St Matts, we believe in equipping young people to explore their faith, develop meaningful relationships, and discover their unique purpose in God’s plan. Our Sunday evening youth groups provide a welcoming and dynamic space for those aged 11-18 to gather, learn, and grow. Through Bible discussions, worship, games, and small group conversations, we aim to inspire and encourage our young people to deepen their relationship with Jesus and navigate life with faith and confidence.
Our youth are an essential part of our church community, which means that they are regularly involved in leading parts of our Sunday services and volunteering at church events. We want our youth to grow up in the knowledge that they are valued by the wider church.
One of the highlights of our youth ministry is the annual Dreaming the Impossible summer camp, a transformative event that brings together young people from across the UK for a week of worship, teaching, and adventure. At DTI, our youth have the chance to encounter God in powerful ways, build lasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories. From impactful worship sessions and inspiring talks to outdoor activities and loads of fun, the camp is a cornerstone of our youth programme, fostering spiritual growth and a sense of belonging in the wider Christian community.
At St Matts, we are committed to journeying with our young people as they navigate the challenges and joys of adolescence. Whether on Sunday evenings or events like DTI, we want every young person to know they are seen, valued, and loved by God and their church family. We’d love for you to join us and see how God is moving in the lives of our youth.
